Am I allowed to become an officer in the Irish army with a tattoo?

The tattoo is on my right shoulder, will this disallow me from joining as an officer?
I’m talking about the Irish Defence Forces you twat.

I thought having at least one tattoo was compulsory in the military.

Seriously though, as long as the tattoo is not sectarian or otherwise offensive you’ll be OK. And you can always come and join the British army if the Irish one doesn’t let you in.

(LOL at the tit who thought you wanted to join the IRA!!!)

Well I highly doubt they are going to examine your body and tell you what you can and cannot have on your own body. Unless it’s like a nazi symbol or something humongous that takes over your hands or face!
In America it’s quite common for "army boys" to get "army tattoos".
