Tatts are forbidden under the mosaic law (the old testament) because they were the practice of polytheists and were normally done to remember the dead , designate a tribal relation or honor a false god.In Christ we are removed from the power of the law to separate us from a relationship with God and so if you have a tat and then become a Christian there is no real reason to feel bad , getting them after salvation shouldn’t be done (my personal opinion) but there is no scripture that i can think of which condemns it and i don’t look down on people who have them .
The Sleeve tattoos are becoming increasingly popular amongst men these days and is probably due to the increasing number of celebrity males getting this sort of ink done. Please remember that you should not ever get a tattoo because you spotted your favourite celebrity with a sleeve design you thought was great. You should instead find a design that appeals to you by doing you own research. It should have a powerful and symbolic meaning to yourself only.
