Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

What do they say? Are they each different or a common one they all have? Here’s a photo. http://us.news1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/fifa/gen/xp/20060709/i/108160715.jpg
it’s a fashion statement…. lol….. Cannavaro has "Andrea" on his arm, "Martina" written in Chinese just below his neck…. where else I’m not sure… I only know that he’s hot
negative I haven’t found my answer yet
Please stop asking this over and over, you have had several perfectly good answers now you are just spamming and it’s getting silly and annoying
The tattoo may have it’s own unique meaning to the wearer, ask them !!!!!!!!!
Edit- If you know the answer you are looking for, why do you keep asking.?
Go try google or ask a shaman or something, but find your answer elsewhere, you are still spamming by reposting over and over
i need to know how to say protect my family in gaelic for a tattoo im planning on getting. thanks in advance!!
I have some friends in Newport, Wales who can’t speak or
understand a word of gaelic. They have lived there and been in
business practically all of their 90 years.
I notice they do print street signs in both languages.
My point is that your tattoo will be very private because very
few people can read it. Maybe you could put the translation
under it.
I’m interested in getting a tattoo of the phrase "Life Goes On" in Gaelic (i am both Scottish and Irish); but I’ve had trouble finding any reliable online dictionary/ translator for the Gaelic language.
If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated, as this tattoo means a lot to me!
Thanks for your time,
Brandon G.
In Irish,
Life Goes On = Leanann an Saol ar Aghaidh
I am tattooing "God" and "Family" in Irish-Gaelic on the underside of each of my forearms, and I wanted to make it a half sleeve going from elbow to wrist…I want to illustrate it with Irish artwork…any good ideas on what the artwork could be, or any suggestions?
Maybe look at the artwork in the Book of Kells for inspiration.
Also be careful what translations you use for God and family. There are different ways to say family in Irish- clann, muintir and teaghlach and they all have different meanings.
